Thankful to overflowing!

 Providence is

the almighty and ever present power of God

by which he upholds, as with his hand,

and earth

and all creatures,

and so rules them that

leaf and blade,

rain and drought,

fruitful and lean years,

food and drink,

health and sickness,

prosperity and poverty—
all things, in fact, come to us

not by chance

but from his fatherly hand.

H.C. Lord's Day 9

This Thanksgiving, I decided to take pictures of some of the many things for which we thank the Lord.  In no particular order, here are the things that we have received out of the providence of God.

A house. With a kitchen. And pies being baked.
    Fall weather and beauty.

Our neighbours cat that we find hiding all over our property (ok this is a little tongue in cheek :)

A cozy living room and a book to read on a quiet Saturday afternoon.

Pumpkin pie. (for Mike to be thankful for more then me ;)

Date night and dressing up.

A husband, provider, lover and friend.

Singing psalms with the Douma's.

Leaves changing colour.

Family who love and serve the Lord.

Good food and fun children.

Walking with sisters and friends.

Happy little children.

God is good!
