We were there

When Nick Wallenda walked across the Niagara Falls on a tight rope, we were there.

We parked about a 40 minute walk away to get free parking (yes we are Dutch :)

There were people everywhere! They had the parkway closed down, and we sat and waited in the middle of the road. Slowly, more and more people came until the entire street, for as far as the eye could see, was filled with people.

There he is!  It was a blast to be able to see it, and from our vantage point, we could see the ending point the best.  He stopped and did a fist pump and he even ran the last little bit.

We are rather tall, but a lot of people couldn't see much at all. A lot of people watched through this guys video camera :)

I love that I get to do this kind of crazy things with this fabulous guy by my side!

The falls looked really cool because it was SO lit up!  The mist was shining bright. This is on our walk back to our car, on the other side of the falls.

We didn't get home til 1 and then we watched it on tv to see a much better view of it all!
