Tuesday - summer time and the living is easy

Tuesday we went to the beach.

For the whole day.

And I couldn't have been happier!

Imagine:

white sand beaches

blue water that was warmish

cameras clicking,

beach umbrellas strewn along,

sun bathing and resting,

reading and watching,

sand playing,

and little girls snacking.

And then, to top it all off, we went out for icecream,

in a little square with the sun beaming down in evening glows,

and bubble gum icecream creating pink tongues,

and a random guitarist strumming lovely tunes,

and some crazy men, with an unexpecting little girl, acting like a moose and a bear. Only with the Douma's!

Then, we were off to Thornbury, a picturesque little town not far away.

There we tried out the self timer for some, let's say, unusual, shots.

The kind you frame in your house because they remind you of fun times.
