Nursery Reveal

We finally finished Liam's nursery!  It's been a work in progress for a long time, and has been mostly finished since he was born.  Last Saturday Mike hung all of the letters of the alphabet and now I can say that it is finished. It's fabulous - I love it as a room and I think it can grow with him as well!

Here's a tour.

I envision sitting in the big cozy chair to read bedtime stories.

Liam at 0, 3, 6 and someday 9 months.

Little touches of colour and fun and love!

This corner is a little messy, so try to envision it without the buckets of clothes that are already too small! We're working on storage for the house :)

The alphabet wall - I got this idea from pinterest, and thanks to some gifts at showers, a great find at a mom to mom sale (the whole alphabet for $10), some paint, and decorations, it is exactly what I wanted it to be!

The closet door was old and bright pink, so a curtain was a cheaper option then getting a new door. In the end, I found this at a garage sale for $1 I think, and it was my first purchase and the inspiration for the colours of the room. The dresser we found for free on the side of the road and a coat of paint and some new handles made it a change table.

In the end we love his room - and it's a dream to even be able to say that we have a nursery in our house - with a baby in it non-the-less!
