And what an honour that was. You see, baptisms can be hard. The hope of someday being able to have and baptize covenant children makes it so. And yet, on Sunday, with a little baby in my arms I felt blessed. Sure the baby is not mine. Sure I would love to be the parent instead of the aunt.
But I am blessed.
Blessed to have nieces and nephews to celebrate.
Blessed to have a brother and sister-in-law, friends really, that care.
Blessed to be surrounding by family.
Blessed beyond measure.
