A cute, easy craft

I did these with my kindergarten children the other day. They loved them! So much so that only 2 out of the 17 remained at school to be hung. The rest wanted to take them home right away.

It's from a coffee filter.

Take a coffee filter and have the children colour the whole thing, one side, with markers.

Take a pipe cleaner and twist it around the middle, making the two sides of the butterfly.

Spray it with water, lightly, so the colours run.

Voila, a butterfly.
